Dr. Curtis
OD, FCOVD
Dr. Curtis, is a humble and dedicated optometrist who has devoted his career to the specialized field of vision therapy and rehabilitation. With a gentle and compassionate approach, Dr. Curtis wholeheartedly commits himself to improving the visual abilities and quality of life for his patients. As a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (FCOVD), he demonstrates remarkable knowledge and skill in the assessment and treatment of visual disorders, always prioritizing the well-being and comfort of those under his care. Dr. Curtis’ commitment to help those who struggle with learning challenges has marked him as an empathetic eye care professional. Dr. Curtis' unique blend of expertise and wit makes him a sight for sore eyes and a true spectacle in the field of optometry.
Dr. Curtis graduated with a degree in Biology from Brigham Young University in 2009. After dedicating two years to support a newly appointed facilities director at Provo School District, he moved his small family to the “Land of the Delta Blues” to attend optometry school at the Southern College of Optometry. He graduated in 2015, then completed his Fellowship in 2020 and has continued to mentor students and doctors seeking to increase their expertise in vision therapy and pediatric vision development.
Dr. Curtis and his wife Amy are busy raising six children. If you ask him, he will tell you that his family is his greatest joy. Just be prepared to submit to a slide show of his kids and the latest litter of puppies from their shaggy dog Breeze.
Dr. Gardner
OD, FAAO
Dr. Gardner graduated from the Arizona College of Optometry at Midwestern University. Prior to joining ACHIEVE Family Vision, Dr. Gardner completed a residency in Pediatric Optometry, Vision Therapy and Neuro-Visual Rehabilitation. During his residency training, Dr. Gardner received special training in Myopia Management (how to slow down the progression of nearsightedness in children). His enthusiasm for children’s vision, vision therapy, and myopia management are contagious, and you are sure to leave with a smile.
Dr. Gardner is fluent in Spanish (Él habla Español). In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, playing the piano, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Pope
OD
Dr. Christopher Pope joined the practice in May 2022 after graduating from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Prior to optometry school he attended Utah Valley University and received a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is a Utah native.
Dr. Pope seeks to provide exceptional vision care as he enjoys building connections and educating patients on their individual needs. His interest in vision therapy jumpstarted when he rotated through ACHIEVE Family Vision (formerly Child & Family EyeCare Center) as a fourth-year optometry student. This fascination of the visual system continues to soar! He is grateful to be able to be part of such an amazing team! Él habla Español.
Dr. Pope and his wife enjoy spending time with family, going on long walks, and riding their motorcycle.
Tahnee N.
Executive Assistant
Tahnee works as our Doctors’ Executive Assistant. She has made Orem, UT her home for many years. In her free time, she enjoys reading novels, writing letters, music, and playing the Game of Things with family and friends.
Madi
Evaluation Aide.
Madison is our Vision Therapy Assistant. She grew up in Salt Lake City and has lived in St. George, Maui, and now Orem where she graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Communication with a focus on Ethnography. Her goal in life is to be with people and help them in any way that she can through her words and listening.
Anna
Vision Therapist
Anna, a Vision Therapist, finds it incredibly fulfilling to assist individuals, especially children, in discovering their unique abilities. She has extensive experience with children with special needs, particularly those with Autism, ADHD, and Tourette's. In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time with her family, practicing macro photography, creating jewelry using a torch, and roller skating.
Nancy
Vision Therapist
Nancy grew up in Provo, UT. Having previously worked as a CNA, she is well experienced in taking care of people of all ages. She now works as one of our Vision Therapists. She also loves the outdoors, warm weather, demolition derbies, Sand Dunes, is an avid craft-a-holic, and is not above being bribed with chocolate (just not the chili kind, that’s gross ^_^).
LaSchelle
Vision Therapist
LaSchelle loves to help her patients grow in confidence - both in body and mind. She loves to learn and work hard while balancing her life as a mother of five children. She enjoys spending time educating them, in addition to staying active together (hiking, biking, and swimming). She also loves gardening, cooking, menu planning/nutrition, home organization, music, and writing.
Sam
Vision Therapist
Sam is currently a student at BYU, and loves his classes for his major in Biology and his minor in Spanish. He has worked with patients in vision therapy with all kinds of backgrounds, and works especially well with younger kids who struggle in school because "they're just not smart enough." He loves to see his patients go from "can't" to "can" to "will" to "done" through their own personal discovery. Sam plans on attending Optometry School in 2026 to further his education with optometry. Sam loves to run in his free time, and he recently finished his first 50K ultra marathon, and has a goal to one day run in the Leadville 100 mile ultra.
LeNan
Patient Care Coordinator Team
LeNan is our Billing Specialist. She loves spending time with her husband, kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren! She has the best family ever. She enjoys cooking, gardening, and baseball. She and her husband go to as many San Diego Padres games as they can. Good times!
Ally
Patient Care Coordinator Team
Ally is a part of our Patient Care Coordinator team. She is from Idaho Falls, Idaho and moved to Utah in January 2022. Ally loves reading, going to concerts, being outside, and spending time with her family.
Shanda
Patient Care Coordinator Team
Shanda’s favorite times are those spent with her husband going camping, fishing, or pretty much anything outdoors. She is a huge Utah Utes fan and enjoys going to sporting events and traveling to watch the Utes play. She enjoys her work as an Optician and has fun helping people pick out glasses that make them look and feel their best.
Jen
Patient Care Coordinator Team
Jen grew up in American Fork and has lived most of her life here in Utah County. She is currently a student at UVU, majoring in psychology. In her free time, she loves being outdoors, especially hiking, camping, and enjoying beautiful views. She loves being with her family and friends. She enjoys helping people and loves seeing smiles on their faces.

Jackie
Optometric Technician
Jackie is excited to help patients who speak Spanish and English as one of our Optometric Technicians. Her favorite things to do include working, wakeboarding, snowboarding, wedding planning, and spending time with her husband and friends. Jackie graduated High School and with her Associate of Science degree. Now she plans on using her experiences here to help support her future career as a wedding venue owner.
Konner
Optometric Technician
Konner currently attends Utah Valley University and looks to go Optometry school in the near future. He loves getting to know people and helping patients anyway he can, especially kids. He loves spending time with his wife, family, and playing sports.
Rebecca
Optometric Technician
Rebecca is a member of our technician team. She loves to work with patients and help them along their journeys. Rebecca loves the medical field and continues to explore possibilities as she progresses in her career. She loves music, the outdoors, and hand lettering
Aubrey
Optometric Technician
Aubrey is part of our Technician Team. She has an innate ability to help a child to their fullest potential, and always makes sure that patients feel welcomed and comfortable. She likes to spend time with her husband, family and friends. She enjoys playing pickleball, running and dancing. Aubrey graduated from Bingham High School as an honor roll student. She plans on going into Interior Design and is excited about her future.
