Optometry Services Are Not All Equal

Most people think optimal vision is about 20/20 sight. That’s just one facet of overall vision health.

Any optometrist can give you an eye exam and prescribe lenses to correct your sight. And that’s a good thing!

However, very few address comprehensive vision. Here’s a quick overview of the difference…

Sight vs. Vision

20/20 sight refers to our ability to clearly see a given size character from a distance of 20 feet. That’s it.

Once that image is in focus, everything that happens as our eyes send that information to our brains is vision. This is where many of the issues we face take place: eye fatigue, reading speed and comprehension, balance, attention, …and many other distractions.

Most medical insurance plans help cover vision exams at our office. We accept medical insurance for exams from SelectHealth, DMBA, Aetna, EMI, PEHP, Medicare, United HealthCare, and most Medicaid plans. Our best-in-class level exam is likely included in your existing benefits. Don’t settle for less.

Vision Doctors, Not Just Corrective Lens Prescribers

Our doctors are specially trained beyond basic optometry practices to identify underlying issues and address comprehensive vision. Those nagging problems that new glasses have not corrected likely have real, addressable solutions. And, especially for children, our comprehensive exams can identify underlying issues before they become manifested problems.

The good news is that most of our patients find that corrective lenses meet their needs. For those with deeper problems, however, our comprehensive approach and thorough exams provide the breakthroughs they have been seeking.
